Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Project Manager to contribute to the success of project initiatives by leading and coordinating medium to large-scale projects within the organization. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you will support both waterfall and Agile delivery models, facilitating planning sessions, standups, and dependency management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
li>Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and performance.
• Manage scope changes, schedule adjustments, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance through established tools and methodologies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and relationships.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Track project performance and analyze the achievement of short-term and long-term goals.
• Prepare reports and documentation for management and clients.
• Support both traditional and Agile project delivery methodologies by facilitating planning, standups, and dependency resolution.
• Lead specific workstreams or project activities, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven ability to lead medium to large-scale projects and work with diverse teams.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• Solid understanding of project management tools and techniques.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in both waterfall and Agile environments is desired.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent is desired.
• Certification in Agile methodologies, such as ScrumMaster, is a plus.
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels of an organization is desired.
