Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid) • Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Pay
$60 to $65/hour
Requirements
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 8+ years of public health or healthcare IT experience
- PMP certification
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- CAPM or Agile certification (preferred)
- Experience with public health programs, clinical systems, or IT infrastructure (highly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate activities among internal teams, healthcare organizations, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable privacy standards
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and communication plans
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports for leadership teams and funding organizations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Promote the adoption of interoperability solutions and best practices
