Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor project team members.
- Mentor, develop, and train Project Engineers for fast-paced growth.
- Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work teams.
- Serve as a key point of contact with owners and architects.
- Provide 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
- Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
- Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects.
- Control costs, billings, collections, changes, cash flows, and monthly status reports.
Requirements
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Organized work approach with the ability to adapt and adjust as required to support the project needs.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, accounting cost management software, and scheduling software.
- Absolutely complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within DPR’s core markets and/or with an Electrical contractor.
