Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor project team members.
• Mentor, develop, and train Project Engineers for fast-paced growth.
• Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work teams.
• Serve as a key point of contact with owners and architects.
• Provide 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
• Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects.
• Control costs, billings, collections, changes, cash flows, and monthly status reports.

Requirements

• Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
• Organized work approach with the ability to adapt and adjust as required to support the project needs.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
• Ability to create and support team morale.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, accounting cost management software, and scheduling software.
• Absolutely complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within DPR’s core markets and/or with an Electrical contractor.
