ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Attend team meetings with Amazon and their converting partners to drive high end projects and strategic initiatives to their completion.
- Responsible for overseeing and providing artwork guidance for development of packaging.
- Provide technical guidance for initial packaging designs to designers and business stakeholders.
- Communicate differences between design and production execution to set expectations.
- Work with designers, brand, operations and procurement to meet their individual graphics and structural requirements and provide synchronization of deliverables.
- Initiate pre-production conference calls, create agenda, provide files and track tasks/deliverables to the business.
- Work with our Amazon Account Manager, Graphics Coordinator and CSR to initiate new projects.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5+ Years of experience in graphic package design
- Strong project management and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Able to communicate differences between design and production execution to designers and stakeholders
- Experience creating brand packaging strategies and the understanding of different print processes
- Strong skill level in design software, e.g. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
- Knowledge and experience with ink, print processes and various substrates such as folding cartons, corrugated, flexible packaging and prototyping
