About the role
As a Project Manager at StructureCare, you will oversee all aspects of sales support and project management in the DC, MD, VA market. You will plan, develop, and direct projects to maximize profitability and exceed client expectations, including vendor management, proposal development, and oversight of repair and restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Client Service Managers (sales) to coordinate the availability of StructureCare’s vendor network for project execution.
- Collaborate with Structural Engineers on scope development, project estimating, and resolving technical questions or issues during active projects.
- Solicit vendor pricing through StructureCare’s preferred vendor program and methods.
- Prepare, review, and update project budgets, schedules, construction plans, and progress reports.
- Execute subcontractor Statements of Work and Change Orders as needed.
- Supervise site logistics and subcontractor activity to ensure projects exceed customer requirements.
- Oversee procurement of required project materials.
- Review and approve subcontractor payment requisitions.
- Prepare owner payment requisitions.
- Work with customers to resolve outstanding issues within the contract scope.
- Attend project meetings as required.
- Develop and enhance customer relationships through excellent service and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Concrete and/or restoration industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of construction processes, equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, and standards.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Accurate and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or collaborate with a team.
- Adaptability as the organization continues to grow.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
