About the Role

Strike is seeking a Project Manager to oversee pipeline and facilities projects from conceptual stages through planning, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close-out. This position is based in Evans, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage large-scale projects to meet customer needs and profit targets.
  • Define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and authorities to project team members, partners, and customers to ensure safe, on-budget, and on-schedule completion in conformance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor contractual commitments, ensuring work aligns with specifications, drawings, and contract terms; manage change orders and claims promptly.
  • Approve bid tabulations for major purchase orders, contracts, and sub-contracts, and authorize critical changes per Strike procedures.
  • Review invoices and payment applications for accuracy and recommend approval or disapproval.
  • Conduct client meetings to provide project status updates, including crew schedules, scope revisions, and schedule changes.
  • Lead internal meetings to coordinate project administration, ROW issues, survey, permitting, engineering, material availability, and construction activity while resolving project problems.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with Strike’s EHS Policy and are performed safely and effectively.
  • Monitor material delivery to meet contract commitments.
  • Oversee completion and review of project documents, including plans, permits, schedules, change control forms, weekly/monthly reports, and status updates.
  • Finalize project close-out, organize post-job reviews, and ensure all Strike documents are complete.
  • Provide leadership and training to project personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience managing pipeline and/or pipeline facilities projects.
  • Experience in project scoping, estimating, cost and schedule control, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement, and permitting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with a track record of finding resolutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Capability for higher-level thinking and growth in support of business development and management reporting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including effective listening.
  • Tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills for working with diverse personnel.
  • Willingness to meet project demands and travel frequently.
  • Compliance with Strike’s policies, procedures, and Drug & Alcohol Policy.
  • Commitment to job safety and respect for others, property, and individual well-being.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team to encourage productivity.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
