Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries to record accruals and allocate expenses among operating segments.
- Prepare detailed monthly account roll forwards and analysis.
- Aid in the timely and accurate accounting close process.
- Create reports for management, which may include sensitive or confidential information.
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve or explain any variances.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to gather data for analysis and verify the accuracy of activity posted to the general ledger.
- Support requests from internal and external auditors.
- Generate ad hoc reports for management.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Four-year degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in a related field.
- Proficient in advanced database management and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, STATA, R, etc.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Access®.
- Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple, complex projects.
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation.
- Rigorous attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact effectively with project teams and clients.
