Project Manager

Skechers USA’s Information Technology group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technology projects, ensuring alignment with Skechers’ technology standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, including staffing, responsibilities, and scheduling.
• Partner with the IT team to define roles, expectations, and ensure timely feedback.
• Ensure effective use of project resources.
• Create and manage project documentation, including risk mitigation, communication plans, resource requirements, and cost tracking.
• Develop and review estimates for project schedules, effort, and cost using established models and past experience.
• Manage all project phases: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate project activities with business owners, stakeholders, technical infrastructure, and application teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, and strategic impacts to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to document detailed requirements, process flows, and data sources.
• Manage scope changes through a formal change process.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with enterprise application projects and multi-million-dollar project execution.
• Proven ability to provide thought leadership and manage high-profile projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, financial management, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
• Track record of working with technical and functional teams.
• Ability to document and communicate progress, taking corrective action as needed.
• Expertise in reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance.
• Experience managing client relationships and negotiating changes to commitments.
• Familiarity with formal SDLC and business analysis methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical resources.
• Strategic planning participation and ability to execute with minimal guidance.
• “Can-do” attitude with a focus on task completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent work experience accepted).
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of project management experience (10+ years of total work experience desired).
• HRIS certifications and project experience preferred.
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Project, Atlassian, ServiceNow PPM, or similar tools.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (SDLC, Scrum, Kanban).
• PMP or CSM certifications preferred.

Pay

$100,000–$150,000/year USD.
