Project Manager
About the role
The Project Manager coordinates all aspects of custom jobs from order receipt to completion. Key responsibilities include developing quotations, managing projects, assisting with documentation, and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Works with department managers, supervisors, and outside vendors to develop quotations on internal and external processes.
- Initiates ECNs as required and inputs information into business systems, including part numbers, bill of materials, purchasing information, etc.
- Aids in documentation and job routing, including job packets and related paperwork.
- Assists with coordination and documentation of equipment and tooling needs.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in project management, supply chain management, or similar field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing, project management, engineering, or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, speak effectively, calculate figures, manipulate CAD and Solidworks software, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Familiarity with the aluminum and manufacturing industries.
- Physical requirements include occasional travel, exposure to noise and non-temperature-controlled environments, ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and exposure to moving and mechanical parts.

- Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Basic algebra and geometry.
- Reading and interpreting documents.
- Writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Speaking effectively before groups.

- Understanding and carrying out instructions.
- Dealing with problems involving multiple variables.
