Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager at Schellman is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of medium-scope projects that support business transformation and operational improvement. This role manages the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, stakeholder expectations, and PMO standards.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Facilitate team collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies, tools, and reporting standards
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status and outcomes
• Escalate significant risks, issues, and decisions to the Manager, ePMO for guidance and resolution
• Support change management and adoption efforts as part of project delivery
• Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 3–5 years of project management experience, with increasing responsibility for planning and executing projects independently
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred

Qualifications

• Strong project management fundamentals: planning, scheduling, budget, risk management, and execution skills
• Proficiency in risk identification and mitigation planning
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively, navigate organizational structures and influence without direct authority
• Understanding of how project decisions affect departmental budget, resourcing, and priorities, and ability to communicate that impact clearly to stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Confluence, Sharepoint, and JIRA, Wrike or other project management software
