About the role
The Program Manager is responsible for managing assigned projects/programs, ensuring they meet specified time, budget, and quality targets to satisfy customers while securing economic success and profitability for the company over the program lifetime.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned programs and projects in a matrixed, international environment.
- Manage self effectively through strong ownership, flexibility, and agility.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver scope, timing, budget, and quality targets.
- Plan and steer project execution, including resource planning, budget tracking, and customer coordination.
- Establish and maintain effective program structures, meetings, documentation, and information flow.
- Ensure compliance with relevant business unit and product line processes and standards.
- Foster collaboration, coordination, and knowledge sharing across disciplines and regions.
- Support team development through feedback, reflection, and best-practice exchange.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular, clear, and appropriate communication.
- Manage communication between disciplines and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- Minimum of 5 years in project or product leadership roles working with multiple disciplines.
- Automotive industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience working with international teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools: timelines, budgets, and approval processes.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Highly self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
