Project Manager

About the role

Inside a newly established joint program office, every project carries weight, and the constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality leave little room for drift. The Red Gate Group is seeking a Project Manager to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer, planning, executing, and closing IT projects that meet or exceed customer objectives. You will create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, develop the overall project plan, and manage project operations, budget, schedule, risk, and conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Manage project stakeholders and team members.
• Ensure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively.
• Coordinate resolution of production‑related problems.
• Establish and maintain proper working relationships among customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
• Create clear and attainable project objectives and build project requirements.
• Develop the overall project plan and oversee project operations, budget, schedule, risk, and conflicts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years (this requirement cannot be met through education or certifications).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place:
  • Associate’s degree in a related field plus 4 additional years of relevant experience,
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2 additional years of relevant experience,
  • 6 additional years of relevant experience.
  (The additional years are on top of the 8‑year experience requirement above, not counted within it.)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification – preferred.
