About the role

Serve as the lead for specific IT projects, responsible for planning, budgeting, oversight, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and coordinate project teams, including technical software development staff and customer-oriented integrated product teams. Utilize advanced project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and tools (Azure DevOps, PPM systems) to deliver projects on time and within budget. Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and financial objectives are met. Oversee business analysis activities, including business process mapping and requirements documentation for healthcare insurance systems (e.g., CMBHS). Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) processes to ensure system deliverables meet client and stakeholder requirements. Prepare and present formal business cases and project charters as part of project initiation and planning (preferred). Apply creative problem-solving and independent judgment to navigate complex project issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT project management experience
• PMP certification required
• Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Past experience working with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) systems or similar environments
