About the role

The Project Manager will support the Senior Project Manager in planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the daily operations of the project team. This position assists with client engagement activities and project deliverables, helping to ensure work is completed according to the contract scope, project timelines, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the client relationship as it pertains to the project, including identifying and engaging with key stakeholders and monitoring client satisfaction.
  • Help lead and develop comprehensive project development plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and ensure the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, including engineers and technical specialists, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the negotiation, administration, and management of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting, and adhere to budgetary constraints and resource allocation.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and proactively address issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar required, with a graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in a highly complex project manager role, with government, tolling, or other highly regulated industry experience preferred.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Proven experience delivering complex operations projects on-time and on-budget.
