Project Manager – Build the Future of Our Expanding Operations
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Cover internal teams, contractors, and equipment suppliers to keep projects on track.
- Support procurement activities, vendor selection, and contract coordination.
- Maintain clear communication across all project participants to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities and ensure milestones are met.
- Be present on-site during critical phases to monitor progress and resolve issues quickly.
- Track project performance, manage changes, and adjust plans as needed.
- Monitor budgets, cost forecasts, and financial impacts.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and change logs.
- Ensure smooth handoff to plant teams at project completion.
- Review CAD layouts and engineering documents to ensure project requirements are understood and executed correctly.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on equipment installation, utilities, and layout changes.
- Support field activities by ensuring technical information is communicated accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large, complex capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners effectively.
- Solid budgeting and cost-tracking experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus.
- Comfortable being on-site during key project phases.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%, depending on project stage.
