Responsibilities
- Manage architectural glass and luxury sliding wall projects from engineering through completion.
- Work directly with architects, owners, owner representatives, and general contractors.
- Cook up project schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Resolve project issues between architects, builders, clients, and internal teams.
- Review architectural, engineering, manufacturing, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate the shop drawing process.
- Coordinate fabrication schedules with the production department.
- Supervise installation teams and installation activities.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed installations.
- Cook up customer service requests related to products and installations.
- Ensure the finished product meets the architect's design intent, functionality, and quality expectations.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Travel to project sites throughout the United States, with occasional international travel as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of field experience in high-end residential and/or commercial construction.
- 7+ years of project management experience.
- 7+ years of experience working directly with architects, general contractors, and glass manufacturers.
- 3+ years of experience in the luxury fenestration industry.
- Degree or diploma in Construction or a related field.
- Strong experience with window and door products.
- Knowledge of architectural products and custom construction solutions.
- Strong knowledge of glass products and glass installation.
- Experience reviewing architectural and shop drawings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work hands-on and pay close attention to detail.
- Proven ability to tactfully resolve client and project issues.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on luxury or highly customized architectural projects.
- Experience with complex architectural glass systems.
- Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and field installation.
- Experience working in environments requiring a high degree of precision and customization.
