All new team members participate in New Employee Orientation (NEO) offered Monday - Friday both onsite and online. Day one includes in-person training at our West Seneca, NY office.

About the Role

This role follows a hybrid model, with required work from the Buffalo office twice per week. Position location is flexible and open to all regions we serve.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing organization-wide projects approved through the Executive Team governance process. This role serves as the central coordinator for project prioritization, planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure initiatives are completed on time and aligned with organizational goals. The Project Manager leads the cross-functional EMR, Quality Assurance, Learning and Development, and Operations project review group and works collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to assess, prioritize, and implement approved projects. The position supports strategic initiatives, process improvements, system enhancements, and organizational change efforts while ensuring effective communication, accountability, and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of Executive Team-approved projects from initiation through completion
  • Lead project planning, implementation, tracking, and reporting activities
  • Facilitate the cross-functional project prioritization process
  • Coordinate project intake, impact assessments, resource planning, and implementation timelines
  • Maintain and monitor the organization's project portfolio and project prioritization framework
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate stakeholder collaboration
  • Identify and escalate project risks, barriers, and resource needs
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to leadership
  • Support organizational change management and process improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and meeting records
  • Develop and maintain project governance tools, including project charters, RACI matrices, communication plans, and status reporting mechanisms

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Project Management, or a related field
  • Three years of project management, operations, process improvement, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management certification
  • Experience in healthcare, managed care, OPWDD, Health Home, or human services

Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, quality management, and operational workflows
