About the role
Responsible for providing project management support during all phases of large, complex concrete shoring, formwork, and scaffolding projects and helping facilitate long-term improvements in the procurement and management of projects.
Domestic travel is approximately 10% of the time for client meetings and site visits.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer contact during the execution phase of assigned projects.
- Prepare resource pipeline and schedule for all aspects of the project: engineering, assembly, material planning, and site supervision.
- Effectively communicate needs to all departments to ensure the project pipeline is achieved.
- Work closely with the engineering team on all aspects of design and material requirements.
- Coordinate with the customer to plan deliveries and forecast upcoming material needs or areas of concern.
- Troubleshoot problems with the customer, engineering, and operations teams to ensure prompt resolution.
- Assist local sales engineer and operations with returns and project closeouts.
- Coordinate proper contract summary sheets and billing models to meet customers' expectations and PERI requirements for non-standard products.
- Monitor material movement to ensure alignment with project scope and contractual terms.
- Ensure billing aligns with contract requirements.
- Monitor internal and external costs against the project budget and schedule.
- Ensure change order documents are maintained and communicated with the customer.
- Oversee project closeout processes and organize settlement discussions.
- Work with all departments to identify problems and help develop long-term solutions, processes, and procedures to improve project management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the National Highrise Segment sales strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering field.
- Two years of relevant professional experience, including:
- 2 years of experience in the formwork or scaffolding sector.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
- 2 years of practical construction site experience in the assembly, erection, and dismantling of formwork and access scaffolding.
- 1 year of experience with 2D or 3D calculation software.
Pay
$74,256–$92,000 per year
