Project Manager

About the role

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Portland 553 operations based in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the safety plans and measures of the branch and assigned projects.
• Create/manage punch lists proactively.
• Understand and be accountable for the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program for assigned projects.
• Prepare RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings.
• Understand and navigate the building systems and their relation to the building process.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s.
• Avoid risks and liabilities for a successful project outcome.
• Manage labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and effectively communicate issues to negotiate the optimal position for our trade in the work sequence.
• Support the branch through positive customer relations and active participation in the Customer Alignment Plan.
• Complete and be accountable for the job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAW’s) on assigned projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience working on a variety of construction projects, with a focus on interior scopes including drywall, framing, ACT, etc.
• Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas on the job that could impact profitability, and then actively navigate the project away from risks and liabilities for a successful outcome.
• Management skills to oversee assigned projects and teams.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
• Superb communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and moral ethics with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an eye for opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Motivated and positive attitude that thrives in a team environment.
• OSHA Certification.
• Sharp customer service skills that build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or comparable field experience.
• Local to the Portland metropolitan area.
• Health care, clean room and mission critical data center experience is a plus.

Pay

Salary range: $99,000-$132,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
