Project Manager
About the role
Peregrine Energy Solutions is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to oversee the entire EPC lifecycle of their energy assets. The ideal candidate will lead projects on time, within budget, and with a strong safety record. They will also navigate the transition from a startup to a larger organization, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Construction support of both greenfield and M&A development assets
- Implementation of Project Management best practices, including cost, schedule, and risk management
- Negotiation and management of EPC contracts from pre-construction through commissioning and start of operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree - engineering, construction management, or related field
- 3-5+ years of EPC management experience for utility-scale generation (wind, solar, energy storage)
- Support of business and/or project development, including estimating, constructability reviews, and risk identification
- Experience running RFPs, negotiating contracts, and managing EPC vendors through substantial completion and start of commercial operations
- Moderate experience monitoring and coordinating site construction activities including startup and commissioning
- Ability to manage the resolution of engineering and construction related issues from both a technical and commercial aspect
- Familiarity with civil, structural, electrical and SCADA engineering fundamentals and associated construction methodologies as it relates to renewable energy infrastructure
- Experience working with utilities and Balancing Authorities to construct and commission renewable energy assets
- Up to 50% travel

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $190,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, technical skills, education, certifications, and alignment with the role's responsibilities, as well as internal equity considerations. Bonus: This position may be eligible to receive an annual cash incentive bonus capped at a % of your base salary and pending your performance review.
