Project Manager

About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our integration business unit. This role is accountable for the successful completion of projects, ensuring proper administration of construction contracts, obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and maintaining clear communication with clients, management, and the operations team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate scope of work, project timeline, system design, and budget for projects to operations team, management, and client.
- Oversee administrative reporting including Schedule of Values, Time Management/Tracking review, Equipment Ordering/Staging, and Job Costing.
- Ensure timely results, quality of work, and customer satisfaction through project closeout.
- Oversee work of technicians and staff on various phases of the project, ensuring correct reporting and addressing issues that arise.
- Coordinate with various company departments, management, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
- Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget allocated.
- Ensure clear customer communication regarding progress, necessary modifications of plans, change orders, and final project closeout.
- Manage staff performance, training, timesheets, and related administrative tasks.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management, and peers; ability to make presentations as directed.
- Develop goals, prioritize, and organize tasks to accomplish the project.
- Anticipate and resolve problems/changes, provide guidance to the field team to ensure project completion.
- Demonstrate leadership, take charge of situations, and show proper authority in a responsible and objective manner.
- Maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Utilize advanced computer skills and software knowledge including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), company software, and job-required software/programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Construction Management (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools, test/set up equipment, and company machinery; demonstrated ability to train others in their use.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical circuitry, network principles, NEC, and fire codes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, programming, and installation guides.
- Advanced knowledge of various low-voltage systems.
- Ability to work in the elements, as necessary.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $90,000–130,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
