Job Duties
- Manage multiple projects from FS Project Creation to customer final acceptance
- Prioritize and direct project activities during the project lifecycle to include planning, scheduling, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, shipping, and subsequent handoff to customer
- Maintain overall responsibility for all details of each assigned project
- Ensure assigned projects meet contractual objectives by effectively managing the project cost and scope
- Act as the primary contact between the customer and the organization to maintain existing customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives
- Provide consultation on proposal development as required
- Participate in the handoff from Manufacturing Operations to FS Operations, where applicable
- Initiate and lead the customer site coordination or project kickoff meeting
- Ensure that FS Operations resources are allocated by FS Operations leadership to execute each project
- Conduct project-specific meetings with both in-house personnel and the customer, as needed
- Follow document management processes for project documentation to ensure compliance with business, contractual, and document retention requirements/laws
- Document and communicate the scope and deliverables to FS leadership and other key stakeholders
- Validate project terms, conditions, and commercial viability using a quote and standard business practices as the baseline
- Establish and maintain ERP Bill of Material for each project
- Ensure proper updating and reporting of project status to the customer
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of contractual invoicing, pursue timely payments from the customer, and authorize payments for major buys to material suppliers and subcontractors
- Acquire formal acceptance from the Customer for all contractual deliverables
- Authorize and approve all project shipments
- Ensure completion of project closeout activities
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in an electrical role or industry
- Minimum of three years of experience in Field Service activities
- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Two years or more of experience in project management in a Field Service operation
- PMP certification
