About the role
PSS is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to contribute to our corporate growth and help maintain our position as an industry-leading authority. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in work plan development and progress oversight, as well as advanced problem-solving abilities. This role is expected to manage multiple projects across multiple client sites and to regularly prepare and present progress updates to executive management.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within and across multiple projects
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements
- Create and review submittals at project release promptly
- Develop and maintain project-tracking records, including change order logs, submittal logs, and budget change logs
- Conduct periodic inspections of construction sites weekly
- Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors responsible for completing various project phases, using construction software such as Procore, Helix, and BuildingConnected
- Facilitate regular status meetings with all sub-teams
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards, including the overall management of field staff on the projects
- Attend regular meetings with Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Accounting personnel to ensure the project’s successful completion
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in general construction and at least two (2) years of experience with secure doors, frames, and hardware (DFH)
- High School Degree or higher
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with Comsense software
- Familiarity with STC and RF principles
- Knowledge of ICD 705 requirements
