Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Cook with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Drive project profitability and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing retail / commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- OSHA certification and PMP preferred.
