Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schedules, including CPM updates and analysis
• Thoroughly review submittals and ensure compliance with documentation processes and procedures
• Maintain positive vendor relationships and monitor invoice processing
• Lead project coordination meetings and approve subcontractor payment requisitions
• Support the Quality Engineer and Safety Engineer, participate in project audits, and mentor the project team
• Evaluate construction methods and assist with estimating bids and proposals
• Coordinate with legal to ensure team follows contractual obligations and notification requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Experience: 10-14 years of experience
• Advanced understanding of construction methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of subcontractor trades work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of working with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
• Working knowledge/understanding of P6, HCSS, and AutoCAD
• Effective/clear communication in verbal/written
• Understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses, and works with them to improve their skillsets
• Self-disciplined to complete assigned tasks within required time frame
• Open to carrying out various tasks in both field office capacity and outside at the project site
