About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support the ‘Define’ stage of a project, taking it from a sold project through commissioning.
  • Assist Sales during the proposal and approval process, including coordinating preliminary and final architectural drawing packages to gain customer approval.
  • Ensure accuracy of project pricing, discounts, and invoicing to meet customer profiles and proposals.
  • Prioritize tasks to help Manufacturing and Purchasing build equipment and procure materials efficiently while meeting ship dates.
  • Identify special project needs early to allow for necessary design efforts and sufficient procurement lead times.
  • Coordinate with customer stakeholders, including architects, engineers, regulators, and GCs, to support permitting and inspections.
  • Work with Project Managers, Department Managers, and Mechanical Designers to prioritize tasks.
  • Support ancillary project activities such as invoicing, collections, and service recovery to close out projects.
  • Be responsive to customer needs and follow through on all aspects of requests, both written and verbal.
  • Support conflict resolution between stakeholders by applying stated values.
  • Take ownership of projects.

Requirements

  • College degree from an accredited college or university preferred (Project or Construction Management).
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in construction or manufacturing project coordination.
  • Alternative: Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of Vacutech equipment, systems, processes, and procedures.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, this role may require tasks on the production floor, where the employee may be exposed to manufacturing hazards. Proper training and appropriate PPE are required to mitigate risks.
