Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams from development to execution.
- Ensure healthcare projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest design and technical standards.
- Review and approve design work, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality control and code compliance.
- Develop and maintain clear construction documentation and specifications.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders; manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
- Manage project scope, contracts, budgets, and change orders in collaboration with firm leadership.
- Contribute to business development efforts through providing RFP support, managing key client relationships, and participating in other pursuit activities.
- Stay current with building codes, industry trends, materials, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed architect with bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture.
- At least 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience managing projects and teams including project budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Experience working in healthcare in Massachusetts and knowledgeable in navigating DPH processes.
- Proven history of successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated success in effectively managing clients and key stakeholders.
- Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
- Competency with digital tools including Bluebeam, Deltek, REVIT and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Location
Hybrid position based in Boston, Massachusetts. Ability to travel for project requirements, as needed.
