Project Manager

You will manage projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress while offering solutions to resolve project issues with limited guidance. This role relies on extensive judgment to plan and accomplish goals and requires strong communication and collaboration with other teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects and prioritize tasks for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress
- Develop and deliver reports for management review
- Manage project activities against schedule and milestones
- Support process and procedure improvements to drive project efficiency
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
- Coordinate resources to execute and deliver projects within Scope, Schedule, and Budget
- Manage project budgets and follow invoicing and revenue recognition processes
- Provide regular financial forecasting for all assigned projects
- Demonstrate awareness of all nine areas of project management knowledge (PMBOK) or applicable PM standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination or management
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant technology B2B industry
- DAS experience highly preferred
- Proficient with ERP systems and developing reports for management review
- Experience with at least one of the following: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, or civil infrastructure construction
- Understanding of two-way radio, microwave, and cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems
- Familiarity with local public safety customers (e.g., police, fire, emergency medical services)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly desired or working toward it
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
The role requires working inside and outside in varying conditions (heat, cold, wet, humid, dry, or arid). Physical demands include:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to handle tools or controls
- Reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, and talking or hearing
- Utilizing personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials
- Lifting (overhead, waist level, or from the floor), bending, and near vision use for reading and computer work
- Handling semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular)
- Working in outdoor weather conditions
- Moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Occasional ladder climbing and operating a motor vehicle
- Positioning self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed
Travel
Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs (up to 50%).
