Project Manager

About the role

Michigan Solar Solutions is seeking a Commercial Solar Project Manager to support and lead our commercial solar installations from planning through project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Cook up commercial solar projects with the PM Team and external partners
• Host job kickoff meetings and conduct pre- and post-contract site visits
• Interface directly with commercial clients
• Manage project materials, tools, permits, engineering, and schedules
• Develop Gantt charts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and job recap reports
• Support and enforce safety programs and site-specific safety requirements
• Screen, onboard, and manage subcontractors with job-specific SOWs
• Resolve installation issues and support continuous improvement efforts
• Oversee commercial job invoicing in the most cost-effective manner

Qualifications

• Experience in management, operations, and leadership
• Project management experience a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
