Project Manager

About the Role

Our client, a top general contractor in the DFW Metroplex, is seeking a professional to oversee and direct projects from start to finish, with an immediate focus on interior/large commercial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with the newest technology in the construction field and make an immediate impact on high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
• Directing and supervising the work of project administration staff and construction engineers
• Partnering with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
• Forecasting, tracking, and reporting project costs/revenue, ensuring adherence to project estimates
• Resolving problems involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, equipment, and contracts/subcontracts administration
• Coordinating with the construction Safety Manager to ensure projects meet established safety goals
• Developing strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
• Maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the project, including RFI logs and change orders

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or relevant degree
• Understanding of costs and market conditions
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 5+ years of experience

Skills

• Experience in leading a team (preferred)
• Procore experience (preferred)

Pay

Salary range: $90K-$120K (dependent upon experience)
