About the role
The project is constructing an 800-mile high-speed rail network in California. Currently, 119 miles are under construction in the Central Valley, aiming for initial operation between 2030 and 2033, with total costs estimated between $88–$128 billion.
Responsibilities
- Determine and arrange project management, technical services, and external resources to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully, communicating strategies clearly and effectively.
- Champion Mace’s Safety First values, embedding visible behaviors and the HSW framework across all activities.
- Lead design, consultant, and stakeholder management, ensuring briefs, deliverables, claims, and variations are effectively completed.
- Manage program delivery from inception to completion, overseeing milestones, risks, budgets, and quality standards.
- Build high-performing teams, promote innovation and sustainability, and drive Mace priorities including Digital and Data and Responsible Business.
Requirements
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent demonstrable development.
- Proven experience delivering projects and programs in property or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management expertise with leadership of diverse teams.
- Knowledge of sustainability, carbon reduction, and program management practices.

Pay
The estimated salary for this position is $125,000 - $155,000 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
