Location: Fort Collins Req ID: 30265 Wage: $85,000 to $125,000 Job Responsibilities Lead the assigned project team through the full life cycle of each project: setup; planning; engineering; procurement; production; testing and qualification; programming; customer runoff and factory acceptance testing; system teardown; on-site installation; on-site runoff and acceptance testing; ongoing site support; and customer trainingTranslate each project’s technical and business requirements into an understandable and achievable work breakdown structure In consultation with resource managers, establish a detailed project budget/schedule and maintain that budget/schedule daily as a tool for achieving on-budget/on-time project performanceManage the project’s scope carefully to avoid scope creep, unmet requirements, unnecessary costs and risks, and schedule delaysServe as the main point of contact for the customer, maintaining high levels of communication and respect, and managing expectationsEstablish and maintain a firm but fair change management expectation with the customer, balancing business financial needs with customer satisfactionMaintain constant awareness of each project team member’s progress on their assignments, knowing when to dive deeper if something is in trouble and knowing when to stay out of the wayResearch and create estimates for potential projects as part of the new-business quoting processAnticipate and proactively resolve scope, schedule, budget, and resource issues to ensure project successPrepare for and attend regular company meetings and management meetingsAssist with company initiatives like process improvements, documentation, and the resolution of chronic issues Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering disciplineExcellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and organizational skills Relevant experience as a project manager in a matrix organization, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environmentMust be able to drive projects to a successful closureAbility to negotiate and manage contractual arrangementsAbility to understand system layouts and technical manualsAbility to develop and deliver presentationsSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office productsAbility to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under stressful situationsAble to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional travel We are proud to offer our full-time candidates a comprehensive benefit programs which include: Health Insurance with HSA and FSA optionsStudent Loan Debt RepaymentDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife/AD&D InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability Coverage401(k) with a Company MatchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysPaid Sick TimeBonus Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
