Project Manager

About the role

Laland Baptiste, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a large, complex phased renovation project in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong construction management experience overseeing large-scale renovations involving multiple phases, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of the renovation project
• Coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, construction progress, and quality
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate construction phasing, sequencing, and site logistics
• Identify and resolve construction, schedule, and coordination issues
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Support project closeout and turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• PE preferred, but not required
• Strong Project Management/Construction Management experience
• Experience with large, complex, phased renovation projects required
• Experience with occupied or operational facilities preferred
• Public-sector or institutional construction experience is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
