About the role
Kirby Risk Electrical Supply is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate electrical construction projects in Indiana. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of electrical supply and distribution, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute electrical construction projects from start to finish
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate material delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead and manage projects, aligning all details, materials, and timelines
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet project goals and schedules
- Conduct project kickoff meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Track and report project progress, budgets, and milestones
- Identify and resolve potential challenges proactively to ensure smooth execution
Requirements
- College coursework and/or 4+ years of relevant project management or electrical supply experience
- A strong understanding of electrical supply, distribution, and vendor relations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Effective meeting management and follow-up skills
- Proven ability to set priorities, solve problems, and deliver results
- A professional demeanor with strong listening and negotiation abilities
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in Electrical Supply and Distribution
- Demonstrated project management and customer service success
