About the role

As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the progress and technical performance of a project, contract management, project scope, schedule, and budget, change management, project governance, and successful turnover to the client. You’ll manage the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives, provide construction oversight, resolve complex construction project issues, mentor emerging professionals, form long-term client relationships, and create alignment among teams.

This role involves managing one of the most unique projects in the southeast: designing and constructing a crucially important headquarters facility for one of the fastest-growing companies. You’ll work with top Engineers and Project Managers, collaborate directly with Contractors, and deliver bold solutions for everyday living.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure progress and technical performance of the project
  • Manage contracts, project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee change management and project governance
  • Facilitate successful project turnover to the client
  • Manage project development from conception through completion
  • Provide construction oversight and resolve complex project-related issues
  • Mentor emerging professionals and build long-term client relationships
  • Create alignment among project teams
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Display leadership and resolve critical project and client issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
  • At least 5+ years of experience involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components, and technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Leadership skills to resolve critical project and client issues

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Prior experience with private sector projects
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $125,000.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
