Project Manager Responsibilities

• Define, drive and manage change management and communications activities that support assigned projects
• Responsible for adherence to the Project and Portfolio Management processes globally
• Works with internal and external team resources to identify requirements for functional optimization development projects
• Drives completion of project milestones, as determined by the team, based on timelines and project goals through all stages of the product development lifecycle
• Supports project initiatives with customer interactions
• Ensures technical and customer requirements for projects are achieved
• Maintains clear communication paths with management and corporate
• Maintains a neat and orderly work environment in accordance with client 5S program

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree In project management, engineering, science, or business. required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years Project Management or Operations Management in process-based manufacturing required
• Proven general leadership and production management experience which includes operational planning and analysis required
• Experience working with ISO9000, FDA and cGMP required

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• General knowledge of OSHA/EPA/safety regulations, manufacturing and process automation
• Working knowledge of business and shop floor systems to effectively manage operations; prefer SAP and MS Office applications
• Knowledge of facilities design/maintenance
• Understanding and experience in use of Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals and regulatory documentation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to speak effectively before groups and employees in the organization
• Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and process documents
• Ability to understand mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Ability to problem solve

Travel Requirements

• 30%: Up to 78 business days per year
