Project Manager Responsibilities
- Define, drive and manage change management and communications activities that support assigned projects
- Responsible for adherence to the Project and Portfolio Management processes globally
- Works with internal and external team resources to identify requirements for functional optimization development projects
- Drives completion of project milestones, as determined by the team, based on timelines and project goals through all stages of the product development lifecycle
- Supports project initiatives with customer interactions
- Ensures technical and customer requirements for projects are achieved
- Maintains clear communication paths with management and corporate
- Maintains a neat and orderly work environment in accordance with client 5S program
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree In project management, engineering, science, or business. required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years Project Management or Operations Management in process-based manufacturing required
- Proven general leadership and production management experience which includes operational planning and analysis required
- Experience working with ISO9000, FDA and cGMP required
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- General knowledge of OSHA/EPA/safety regulations, manufacturing and process automation
- Working knowledge of business and shop floor systems to effectively manage operations; prefer SAP and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of facilities design/maintenance
- Understanding and experience in use of Lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals and regulatory documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to speak effectively before groups and employees in the organization
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and process documents
- Ability to understand mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
- Ability to problem solve
Travel Requirements
- 30%: Up to 78 business days per year
