Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams
- Track project schedules and milestones, identifying potential delays, and helping to develop mitigation plans
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all project goals and objectives are met, from budget to timeline and quality control
- Participate in client and team meetings, preparing progress reports and updates as required
- Cookordination inspections and ensuring the project meets all building codes and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction management, with experience working on public projects preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Project experience should include a variety of project types – large public buildings and infrastructure projects preferred
- Municipal building build-outs or renovations
- Medical centers / healthcare facilities
- Higher-education and university buildings
- Transportation/railroad infrastructure
- Experience overseeing projects with multiple trades running concurrently, knowledge of many trades essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
