Project Manager

Location: New York, NY

Compensation range: $70‑75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day project operations, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Track project schedules and milestones, identify potential delays, and help develop mitigation plans.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure all project goals and objectives are met, from budget to timeline and quality control.
• Participate in client and team meetings, preparing progress reports and updates as required.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure the project meets all building codes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction management; experience on public projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Project experience that includes a variety of types—large public buildings and infrastructure projects preferred.
• Experience with municipal building build‑outs or renovations, medical/healthcare facilities, higher‑education/university buildings, and transportation/railroad infrastructure.
• Experience overseeing projects with multiple trades running concurrently; knowledge of many trades essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
