About the role
The Project Manager plays a key role in providing customers with products or services to meet their scope of work. They are the main contact and work closely with both the external and internal customers. Their primary focus is to ensure we meet the customer’s expectations while meeting the organizational goals of Industrial Works.
Responsibilities
- Establish realistic, accurate timeline of projects.
- Plan, organize, and manage the completion of projects.
- Ensure that projects deliver the expected results, on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Cook up the project team as well as resources assigned to the project.
- Monitor project progress.
- Evaluate project performance; evaluate its efficiency and effectiveness and plan for ways to fix similar issues in the future.
- Main point of contact with the customer on specific projects, keeping the customer and production up to date on the status and/or issues.
- Prepare accurate estimates with clearly written scope, as needed.
- Opportunity to advance to Senior Project Manager based on skills, performance, and experience.
- Track and record time spent directly on customer projects, manage time dedicated to billable customer work, and ensure all chargeable hours for customer services are accurately logged in the ERP via the Data Collection App.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Will be willing to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Average wage: $40,000 – $71,000 Varies based on experience.
- Shift: 1st – 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Job Type: Full-Time
Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field preferred, or relevant experience.
- Proficient Computer Skills; Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
