Project Manager

About the Role

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to oversee charging electrification rollouts, managing numerous turnkey electrical installations at facilities to enable fleets to convert to electric. This position reports directly to the Director of Project Management and requires significant regional travel to ensure a timely and customer-centered turnkey delivery experience.

Key objectives include leading projects from assessment through completion, maintaining safety standards, reporting on progress, and cataloging results. The Project Manager will also play a key role in the Sales process alongside the Account Executive.

Responsibilities

Equipment Management

• Ensure up-to-date status on all equipment orders and status by Project Assist.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with tracking delayed payments for equipment (e.g., advanced payments and shipping).
• Work with the customer to understand the equipment shipping process and requirements for reception on the customer site (e.g., FOB Destination).

Project Delivery

• Manage projects in both Salesforce and Procore, including master schedule in MS Project.
• Review all Purchase Requisitions to ensure subcontractor requirements are documented per the original quote and convert to Purchase Orders in line with InCharge SOP requirements.
• Manage the Change Order process with the Account Executive in line with InCharge SOP requirements in a timely manner.
• Provide routine progress updates to the customer throughout the project delivery process.
• Manage stakeholder relationships for all projects relative to project execution and construction contract management.
• Ensure Site-Specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols are followed during construction and report any deviations to the InCharge HSE Manager promptly.
• Perform all performance tracking (schedule, budget, risks, claims, environmental health and safety, quality, etc.) and implement corrective measures if necessary.
• Ensure all projects are managed in accordance with relevant InCharge SOPs.

Project Closeout

• Perform final signoff on all Project Closeout Documents (financial and project) per InCharge SOP requirements.
• Ensure the customer knows how to use InControl (if purchased), charge a vehicle, and contact the Service Department.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of Construction Project Management experience, including hands-on field construction management.
• Relevant Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Degree or 4 years of relevant electrical construction experience in addition to the above years of experience.
• Electrical engineering, electrical estimating, or construction background required.
• OSHA 30 Certified (required within 90 days of hire if not already completed).
• Preference for Journeyman or Master level electrician.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner).
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Procore, or equivalent software.
• Extensive experience in scheduling construction at multiple sites simultaneously and managing subcontractors and other vendors.

Pay

US Salary Range: $100,000 USD - $130,000 USD
