This role sits at the center of our project teams, balancing client relationships, financial performance, and operational execution to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from post-bid through closeout, ensuring alignment between scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
• Drive accountability across internal teams and trade partners to deliver successful outcomes.
• Partner with Estimating to support bid packaging, validate project scope, and lead a thorough and strategic buyout process.
• Ensure subcontractor scopes are complete, competitive, and aligned to prevent gaps or overlaps.
• Translate estimates into project budgets, manage cost controls, and oversee change management.
• Review subcontractor invoices, prepare owner pay applications, and ensure financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and actively manage the project schedule, proactively identify risks, and maintain momentum to keep projects on track or ahead of schedule.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors, building trust through clear and professional communication.
• Work closely with field leadership and the Safety team to uphold IMC’s “Safety First” culture, supporting the development and execution of project-specific safety plans.
• Guide and support Project Engineers and APMs while fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors to elevate team performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience leading buyout, subcontract negotiations, and contract administration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency.
