This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more Information, Please See https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/13703758 ## Essential Functions Under administrative direction, serves as the Project Manager for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) performing complex professional and advisory functions in project management. Performs complex professional advisory functions in the research, requirements analysis, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of complex information systems to fulfill requirements of DoIT and agency initiatives. Provides state contract and vendor management support on assigned projects toenforce adherence to project scope, budget, timeline, quality, and deliverables. Applies, evaluates, and interprets standardized policies and procedures as identified by the Department and EPMO management to ensure consistency and compliance across project activities. Keeps abreast of new developments in the Telecommunications field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. ## Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields. Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Application Services or a related Information Technology field.
