About the role
IEM is seeking a Full Time- Project Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive program strategy for a state's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health project administration and grant management, with a focus on operational change and program sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of RHTP projects and program governance
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead a team of project staff to support program activities
- Prepare and present program updates and reports
- Evaluate program outcomes and impact on rural health systems
- Collect, organize, and analyze program data
- Interpret statistical reports and translate findings into actionable insights
- Apply statistical methods to monitor key performance indicators and support audit-readiness documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health project / program administration and grant management
- Experience with federal grant regulations and compliance requirements, particularly related to the Rural Health Transformation Program
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, grounded in data literacy and statistical reasoning
- Demonstrated proficiency in data interpretation and basic statistical analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public health, public administration, etc.
- Master of Public Health, Master of Public Administration, or an advanced degree in a related field preferred
- Experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) programs, rural health initiatives, or large-scale federal health grants
- Familiarity with statistical software or data analysis platforms (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, or advanced Excel functions)
- Experience with health-related data sources such as CMS datasets, HRSA reporting systems, or state health information exchanges
Benefits
Salary range: $105,000 - $120,000
