Job Summary
The Project Manager leads medium to large architectural projects from early planning through construction, overseeing design development, budgeting, scheduling, specifications, and construction documents. The role serves as the primary client contact, ensures design intent is maintained, manages project teams, coordinates with agencies and consultants, and resolves project challenges while supporting profitability and strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Architectural degree from an accredited university or equivalent demonstrated proficiency
- Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural document production, coordination, and project management
- Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of contractual liabilities, fee calculations, and scope management
- Ability to make sound decisions, exercise good judgment, and involve appropriate stakeholders
- Ability to assign and delegate tasks respectfully to staff, consultants, and vendors
- Ability to write/edit specifications and correspond with agencies, consultants, and clients
- Strong organizational skills: goal-setting, prioritization, planning, and time management
- Ability to estimate hours for tasks and complete work within agreed-upon budget
Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,065 - $127,281 annually.
