Project Manager
Responsibilities
Support project work planning activities, including defining trainer scope and associated functional requirements, cost estimating, schedule and budget development, and risk identification.
Monitor project progress and performance against plans and initiating corrective actions to address variances as necessary.
Execute schedule and assigned budget resources.
Interface with project stakeholders, internal and external to the Program.
Identify and implement solutions to resolve challenges and minimize project impacts.
Ensure project results meet scope, schedule, cost, and technical quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Periodic travel to other NNPP and subtier supplier sites
- Program or project management experience within a technical business
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
- Experience managing complex technical projects
- Experience with new project startup, technical writing, cost estimating, and subtier supplier oversight
- Experience defining, implementing, and managing project infrastructure (integrated plans, resource management, schedule management, risk management, change control, and status reporting)
- Ability to team and solve complex problems across organizations
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments for all aspects of work with minimal direction from management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with management and interfacing organizations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
