About the role
The Customer Project Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for managing exciting projects in an international industrial environment, leading project teams, monitoring and controlling financial progress, and being the main point of contact towards customers.
Responsibilities
- Point of contact for Project and Technical Communication (except Customer when Technical Leader/Manager is part of the Project Team) with the customer.
- Involves the customer in decision-making processes and provides regular information on project progress (progress reports).
- Responsible for customer inspections (PIM/FAT/Packing Inspection).
- Ensures that Sales initiates the handover to execution. Participates at Customer Kick Off Meeting and initiates internal project Kick Off Meeting.
- Handles planning elements and milestones according to Gutor Project Process (ETO CPP) in coordination with the Project Planning, Operation, Engineering (Customer Service teams).
- Led and organized status meetings for a regular project status review with the project team if required.
- Closes cooperation with the assigned Application Design Engineer. Monitors document submission status in cooperation with documentation teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in the Electrical or Oil and Gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Strong communication skills (situational adapted, sensitivity, politeness).
- Project Management skills (Tools, Methods concerning duties and responsibilities, knowledge of projects finance, upselling, knowledge of economics in project business).
- Fully fluent in English (written and oral), Optional: Spanish.
- Ability to handle several projects in parallel.
- Ability to review and understand the project specifications and ensure implementation and identify deviations (commercial, scope, schedule, inspection, documentation ...etc.).
- Basic Technical knowledge.
- Knowledge And Skills – Desired But Not Essential: Experience in the O&G Industry, UPS knowledge, Technical Engineering Degree (HF).
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Understanding of invoicing requirements and managing financial aspects ex, letter of credit, Bank guarantees ...etc.
- Knowledge in power distribution systems (AC/DC Panels and DC switchboards).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
