Duties/Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day direct supervision and development of employees, including scheduling, work assignments, dispatching, training, motivation, and progressive discipline.
- Aids in the day-to-day implementation of the open-work order activities, strategic planning, and managing to ensure conformance with established contract requirements.
- Serves as a liaison between employees and the Project QC/SSHO, promoting and making employees aware of the importance of Safety and Safe Work Practices.
- Maintains tools and equipment in good condition and ensures proper housekeeping is conducted daily.
- Assists the Project QC/SSHO in addressing non-conformant work quality issues promptly.
- Prepares required reports and analyses as needed, ensuring all required documentation is maintained and submitted as per contractual requirements.
- Analyzes and resolves work-related problems.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
- Maintains effective communication with senior corporate staff, supervisors, employees, and customers.
- Ensures that contract standards for work order completion are met.
Required Skills/Abilities
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain base access.
- Passes a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking on new tasks with an elevated level of difficulty.
Education And Experience
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Minimum of five years of experience managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience working on government contracts preferred.
- Maximo and Costpoint experience preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
