Project Manager
Safety
Maintain and engage field operations to ensure adherence to safety practices. Engage directly with craftworkers and safety specialists to enhance the project and company safety culture.
Contractual Management
Understand, enforce, and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements. Address issues appropriately and participate in negotiations to keep the project on track.
Managing Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with the project team, including co-workers, trade partners, design professionals, inspectors, and client representatives.
- Respond to inquiries professionally and courteously.
Planning and Executing the Work
Participate in and lead the development of work plans to ensure successful operations. Engage appropriate resources to achieve efficient and successful outcomes. Track progress and make adjustments as needed.
Suppliers and Trade Partners
- Lead all aspects of trade partner and supplier engagement, including solicitation, contracting, onboarding, management, and closeout.
Business Processes
- Manage and perform all business processes for contractual compliance and optimal outcomes, including RFIs, submittals, payment applications, letters of notice, change orders, timecard approvals, and other tasks as required.
Document & Project Controls
Implement and follow secure and organized document control procedures. Establish and adhere to project controls for compliance and efficiency.
Scheduling
Develop, maintain, communicate, and build the project schedule. Collaborate with superintendents and trade partners to set realistic expectations and optimal sequencing of work.
Risk Management
Maintain vigilance and proactively seek to mitigate risks to protect the company and the project. Raise concerns and solve problems as necessary.
Quality Management
Participate in the project quality control plan. Lead first-work kickoff meetings with self-perform and subcontractor teams. Ensure compliance with plans and specifications in all operations.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 10 lbs., and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience preferred.
- Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
- Strong industry experience specific to construction, or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience with typical PM software tools, or equivalents, including Bluebeam Revu, Excel, AutoCAD, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, P6, Google Earth, Google Drive, MS Teams, and willingness to learn new and project-specific programs.
- Ability to break down construction operations into a logical sequence of activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional and polished communication style to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, clients, and government agencies.
