Responsibilities
- Create schedules and build product development plans.
- Integrate activities of cross-functional team members.
- Lead weekly internal project team status meetings.
- Clarify and ensure market-specific strategies, goals, and objectives align throughout project development.
- Establish, manage, track, and report project budgets.
- Execute and suggest improvements for the product development process.
- Utilize Glen Raven's stage gate process for product development progression.
- Define and drive risk and mitigation plans for projects.
- Assess and select mitigation plans when needed.
- Identify, evaluate, and document "lessons-learned" during the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, related field, or equivalent education.
- PMP, Project Management Certificate, or other formal Project Management education preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in engineering, project engineering, project management, product management, or related new product development field.
- Ability to deliver results while managing multiple projects.
- Strong influence and leadership skills.
- Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, service, customer service, finance, sales, and marketing.
- Self-starter attitude, proactive thinking, resourcefulness, and team environment.
