Responsibilities
- Aid in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies.
- Conduct initial risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute project tasks according to the plan.
- Maintain regular communication with team members and provide updates.
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project expenditures and track against budget allocations.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between different teams and departments.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
- Communicate with production, engineering, and sales departments weekly.
- Assist in developing best practices and policies.
- Track budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Document and report safety concerns related to equipment installation and operation.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments.
- Comply with the company’s ISO objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Document and report any safety concerns as it relates to the installation and the operation of our equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, industrial technology, or equivalent experience.
- Two to four years of project management experience in an OEM, Industrial, or Construction setting.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
- Blueprint reading required (AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and physical ability to work on our equipment, including climbing ladders, crawling under objects, and working in harsh conditions/jobsites.
- The ability to understand basic business concepts and respond to customer requests.
- The willingness to work from existing policies and procedures and build technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency with ERP and Project Management software (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
- Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, CAPM, etc.) are a plus.
Pay
$85,000 to $100,000 paid annually.
Schedule
Onsite in Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
